🎓 🔗 EGU 2026

The EGU General Assembly in 2026 will combine the best of long-established, traditional presentation and networking formats, while continuing to support hybridization and improving accessibility and inclusion for all of our participants. EGU26 will feature oral presentations, poster sessions, and the established PICO format for presenters on-site in Vienna as well as those presenting remotely.

Note: For remote session access, a corresponding Zoom link will appear in the programme 15 minutes prior to the session’s start.

General information

1. Registration for the EGU General Assembly 2026 is secured via payment of the appropriate registration fee.
2. There is no waiving of registration fees except for scientists receiving a support or an EGU award or medal.
3. Renew your EGU membership while registering for the meeting to benefit from reduced registration rates.
4. The fee for on-site participation includes participation on-site, coffee breaks, and provides access to the virtual part of the meeting. Meals are not included. It also includes a public transportation ticket which will be printed on your name badge. The public transportation ticket is valid Sunday–Saturday, 3–9 May 2026, within the core zone of Vienna (formerly zone 100). Please note that this ticket does not cover the transportation to and from the airport.
5. The fee for virtual participation provides access to the virtual part of the meeting.

7. There are no discounted/special rates for accompanying persons (partner, friends, relatives, etc.).
